Strategic Plan
The District's strategic plan is a pathway to successfully fulfill our promise to connect with, inspire and empower our students. We built this strategic plan to provide system coherence and focus our work on five critical student learning outcomes. This plan lays out our vision, strategies and measures by which we will attain these goals.

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month. Washington promotes and supports locally based middle and high school programs that provide 21st century, academic and technical skills for all students.
February is Black History Month, which celebrates and recognizes the important achievements and contributions Black and African Americans made to history.
The Orting School District Board of Directors is seeking a dedicated group of community members to serve on a Bond Task Force. The Task Force will play a critical role in assessing and analyzing data, evaluating facility needs, and partnering with the Board of Directors to make a recommendation to the local community regarding a future school bond.
At our last Regular Board Meeting, January was officially recognized as Whole Child Month, celebrating our commitment to supporting every aspect of students' development.
On January 15, 31 students from Orting High School (OHS) and Orting Middle School (OMS) participated in a one-day Peer Mediation training session at the district office. The event aimed to equip students with the skills and tools necessary to support their peers in resolving conflicts peacefully.
