3... 2... 1... BLAST OFF! We have officially launched into the 2024-25 school year by welcoming 1-12 grade students on Tuesday, Sept. 3. We are excited to welcome our kindergarten students on Friday, Sept. 6, and preschool students on Monday, Sept. 9. See you at school!

We built this strategic plan to provide system coherence and focus our work on five critical student learning outcomes. This plan lays out our vision, strategies and measures by which we will attain these goals.

Disability Awareness Month takes place in October to increase awareness, respect, and acceptance for people with disabilities, and to bring a greater sense of pride to people with disabilities.

Over the coming weeks, we will share letters from our School Board and administration about why we are rerunning the bond and our facilities' current issues.

We will be offering our families and community two opportunities to hear about the bond projects and ask any questions they may have about the bond. Mark your calendars for Thurs., Oct. 4 to join us on a tour of Orting Elementary and Orting High School, and join us virtually on Tues., Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. for a Virtual Town Hall. See you there!
