Strategic Plan
The District's strategic plan is a pathway to successfully fulfill our promise to connect with, inspire and empower our students. We built this strategic plan to provide system coherence and focus our work on five critical student learning outcomes. This plan lays out our vision, strategies and measures by which we will attain these goals.

The Orting School District added portable classrooms at OHS and OES to address severe space shortages due to rapid student growth. Temporary solutions are being funded through impact fees, while a community-led Bond Task Force works on long-term facility recommendations.
Over spring break, we began installing four portable classrooms in the main parking lot at Orting High School. This addition is part of our ongoing effort to address overcrowding, as the high school has reached its capacity with no room left for expansion inside the building. The portables will be used starting in the 2025–26 school year, and early installation allows time for necessary setup.
