Students in Kindergarten through 5th grades attend Ptarmigan Ridge Elementary School.  We emphasize academic and social growth. We set goals and strive to meet them, then recognize our successes.  We have much to celebrate in our accomplishments, and we plan to provide more opportunities for students to grow as we implement reading interventions this year.  Every day at Ptarmigan Ridge we "Dream, Explore, Discover New Heights!"

    Orting Primary

    Orting Primary School

    316 Washington Avenue North
    Orting, Washington

Orting Primary is a unique early childhood configuration of pre-school through third grade.

We are excited about this age in a child’s development and work hard to help all students become strong readers through early interventions like full day five-day kindergarten and flexible skills groups. We are continually working to improve instruction for students through a new curriculum in reading and math, the five dimensions of teaching and learning framework, and high-quality professional development for teachers. The involvement of parents and our community help our kids blossom! We involve families through programs like Watch Dog Dads, Family Math Night, Ready for Kindergarten, and the Incredible Years Parenting Series, as well as PTA.
