Elements to the OHS Summit Plan:
- Identification of career goals, aided by skills and career interest survey assessments
- Completed via Career Matchmaker/Ed Pathway lesson after completing Xello Career Matchmaker under the "About Me" tab
- Identification of educational goals for graduation and post-high school
- Completed within the Career Matchmaker/Ed Pathway lesson
- A four-year plan
- This is a list of courses taken in high school that satisfies state grad requirements and aligns with students' secondary and postsecondary goals - students complete their 4-year plan as they choose classes during the registration process!
- Options for satisfying state and local graduation requirements
- This includes meeting SBA Math and English assessment standards OR via academic acceleration, dual credit courses, Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, and graduation pathway options (see OSPI Grad Pathways)
- Your counselor will connect with you if you haven't satisfied this grad requirement!!!
- Resume or activity log that includes the student’s education, work experience, community service, including how districts recognize community service (RCW 28A.320.193)
- This is done via the Resume Builder under the "About Me" tab - or if the student has a transcript, they can upload it into the platform
- Evidence that the student has received information on federal and state financial aid programs that help pay for postsecondary programs
- This is done via the Financial Aid Advising Day (see the list for Webinars - OHS has Financial Aid Advising events before December 1 each year, as required by Washington State - meeting links are shared in the Senior Google Classroom!!!). You will enter the date you attended within Xello under Financial Aid/FAFSA Information lesson

- Completion of at least 10-community service hours

Washington State has mandated that all seniors and their parents/guardians attend a Financial Aid Advising Day event before December 1st each year.
