Our community values education and demonstrates support for our schools in many ways. We believe it is essential to regularly report to our community about how their support enhances student learning and strengthens our community.
- Our Annual Report provides information about our school district, schools, staff members, and our students. This report is designed to provide parents and community members with important demographic, budget, facility, and student achievement data. Additional information about our schools is available at the OSPI Report Card website.
- Summit is our community newsletter. It is mailed to homes and businesses twice a year.
- Inside Orting Schools is our postcard that we send out to our families as a spring update. This is mailed home once per year.
Questioning Why You Received a Publication From the Orting School District?
An estimated 75 percent of the residents and voters within the school district boundaries do not have school-aged children in the Orting School District. The purpose of our publications, therefore, is to let those members know about the programs and activities taking place in their school district. To greatly reduce the cost of postage, we use a bulk mailing process that has it delivered to every residential customer on each carrier’s route.
