Committee Purpose and Intent
The Orting School District Bond Oversight Committee will serve as a community-based advisory group established to support transparency, accountability, and communication throughout the implementation of voter-approved bond projects.
The committee is intended to:
- Provide informed community input during the design and construction process. Establish open communication with the Board of Directors and establish a feedback loop
- Help ensure bond funds are used as promised and in alignment with commitments made to voters
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and major budget considerations
- Strengthen community trust through open reporting and consistent oversight
The Bond Oversight Committee is not a decision-making body, but rather an advisory committee that helps ensure the District's bond program remains aligned with voter expectations and project goals.
