GC/CM Process
The District received Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from seven construction firms interested in serving as the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) for the upcoming bond projects.
The District received SOQs from the following firms: Andersen Construction, Cornerstone General Contractors, Korsmo Construction, FORMA Construction, Skanska, SpeeWest Construction, and PCL Construction.
After reviewing the qualifications, the District interviewed Cornerstone, FORMA, Skanska, and SpeeWest to participate in the interview phase of the selection process.
At the March 19, 2026, Regular Board Meeting, the Orting School District Board of Directors approved the selection of Skanska as the GC/CM.
