REGULAR BOARD MEETING CHANGE NOTICE for the 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR

  • The Regular Board Meeting scheduled for November 21, 2024 has been rescheduled to November 14, 2024
  • The Regular Board Meeting scheduled for January 16, 2025 has been rescheduled to January 23, 2025

Responsibilities

The School Board of Directors consists of five members who are elected by voters in the Orting School District and must live within the district boundaries they service.

The School Board Standards comprise five core principals:

  1. Responsible school district governance
  2. Communication of and commitment to high expectations for student learning
  3. Creating conditions district-wide for student and staff success
  4. Holding the district accountable for student learning
  5. Engagement of the community in education
