Families, Welcome to our classroom site!

   My name is Erika Remien and I currently teach 4th grade here at Ptarmigan Ridge. In the past I have taught middle school Math, Spanish, and Avid in Buckley, Wa. I absolutely love when I have the opportunity to use my Spanish, even if it is simply to surprise the class with me "randomly" speaking to them in a different langauge. That said, I will tell you a little about myself and how our classroom works: I have a one year old son at home who my husband and I love to spend time with outdoors but I also have a cat who I love to spend time with drinking coffee on the couch:).

   As for our classroom, the quickest method of communication is email. However, if that is not most conveniant for you, please let me know if you prefer paper correspondance or by phone. Regulary I send class updates home and share the students successes, needs, and upcoming events. 

   I cannot wait to get to know your family and to be your child's teacher!
