Welcome to Orting Primary School!

  • Orting Primary School is a PreK through third grade school. The entire Orting Primary staff is dedicated to readying all students for college, careers, and life.  We are teaching all Cougars to Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible!

    School Hours  

    Monday through Friday school begins at 8:50 with dismissal at 3:20. Friday dismissal time is 1:50. 
    • OPS Building is open from 8:00 to 4:30 following the Orting School District Calendar
    • Cafeteria and gym doors are opened at 8:40 for students
    • Breakfast is served from 8:40-9:00
    • Morning assembly begins at 8:40
    • Students are tardy after 8:50

     

    Visiting OPS

    To ensure the safety of all OPS students all visitors/volunteers are required to sign in at the school's office. You can learn more about volunteering here.
