Hello Cougar Families!

My name is Erynn Alvers and I am thrilled to be Assistant Principal here at Orting Primary School.  I feel so lucky to be an Orting team member, an exciting opportunity after spending the last 20 years as a school counselor in the Puyallup School District. I attended Central Washington University (Go Wildcats!) for my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Child and Family Counseling. Recently I had the opportunity to obtain my Administrative Credentials from City University, and I am Currently working on a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership there as well. School is my full-time jam.

I am a mom to three busy girls (16,14,13) and when I’m not at school you can find me at a field watching them do what they love. We recently added a German Shepherd puppy to our home named Hurley and she has kept us hopping.

 Thank you for trusting your student to us. Developing strong relationships with families and staff is my most important job, and I genuinely look forward to meeting with you soon.
