Due to power outages in the district and our community, resulting in our schools' closure on Monday, Oct. 25, the district's make-up day, Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, is now a school day.

Orting High School to host 2022 Daffodil Festival Princess Selection Oct. 20
The Daffodil Festival is a multi-generation spring tradition in Pierce County with a Daffodil Royal Court, a series of parades, a tie-in with the Washington State Spring Fair, and related events. The court is comprised of 23 seniors selected from participating Pierce County high schools. They represent the Daffodil organization and their community and conduct service and outreach on behalf of their communities.

Orting School District is seeking applications from citizens interested in being appointed to a committee to write the for and against statements for the Pierce County Local Voters’ Pamphlet.
