Jennifer Babcock, teacher of the Orting High School's special education life skills program that helps students ages 14-21 learn skills towards independence in daily living tasks, community access, self-advocacy skills, career exploration and job skills, shared how impactful this event was for her students. Her students wrote letters and notes for Mangold and Cline that Board President Carrie Thibodeaux shared as well. Mangold and Cline read some of the heartfelt letters to those attending the board meeting.
