We are aware of a post that circulated around social media over the course of yesterday evening by a community member with an alleged threat. Our students and staff safety is our top priority. We took the necessary protocol steps to investigate the validity of the threat with our SRO Boone and our partners, the Orting Police Department. From that investigation, we concluded there was no legitimate threat, and concluded this was a false allegation of posting a threatening message. 

Due to parents' concerns, we will have extra police presence today on campus. Any student that is experiencing personal hardship, please reach out to their counselors.
