The federal COVID waiver that allowed districts to offer free meals expired at the end of the 2021-22 school year. So, Orting will return to charging for school breakfast and lunch in the new school year.

Breakfast: $1.50
Lunch: $2.60

Secondary (grades 6-12)

Families are encouraged to complete the federal free & reduced meal application to receive meals free of charge or at a reduced price. Once the application is turned in and approved, it is good for the entire school year. Only one application is necessary per family.

Those who qualify, will also be eligible for discounted or eliminated fees to participate in other school programs, such as purchasing ASB cards, athletic fees and/or field trips.
