We have five elected school board officials who volunteer their time to help ensure the Orting School District is responsive to the needs and concerns of our community. As part of their commitment to transparency and regular communication, our board would like to hear from you! If you have questions or concerns about future growth, facility needs, student support, improving learning outcomes or any other topics you would like to discuss, members of the elected school board are here to listen and learn from you! We have a few Listen and Learn opportunities coming up that we hope you can attend!

- Friday, Oct. 7: Homecoming Football Game
- Thursday, Oct. 20: OMS and OHS conferences
In addition, we are hosting a few other events where the community can share their voice. This includes our Citizens Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC) and three town hall meetings. We will have two CFAC meetings, occurring on Tuesday, October 4 and Tuesday, November 29. The CFAC meetings are to engage the community to better understand their priorities and desires regarding school facilities, further explore the enrollment issues, potential solutions, and alternatives. Our three town halls will occur on Thursday, October 13, Thursday, January 26 and Thursday, February 9. We hope to see you there!
